These cracking little shoots are such a fun way to celebrate a first birthday – either book both shoots together or do as a separate first birthday shoot or a cake smash. Its great fun seeing them get their hands/face/feet all mucky and their reactions to what is most likely their first cake experience! Open to any age.

First birthday and cake smash shoots are a speciality of mine. I photographed this little cutie when she was a newborn and now look she’s ONE! She had a few nice first birthday photos in her pretty dress to kick off the shoot before we disrobed and got her into her frilly nappy and showed her the cake! She wasn’t at all shy and in fact I think she ate half the cake – yum yum yum. Here’s just a couple of sneaky peak photos of this really fun shoot. This little chap came along to the studio for his Cake Smash to celebrate his forthcoming first birthday the end of this month – he brought chocolate brownies with cream on the top in a cake tray – it worked really well in fact!
