I just did my first engagement shoot of 2019 at Shendish Manor which is the venue this couple will be getting married at later in the year. It was a misty morning before the sun came up and they brought their young children to be photographed for part of the shoot too. I always keep my engagement shoots to about 30 minutes because realistically this will be the approximate time you will have post ceremony and pre wedding breakfast for the two of you. I also find doing the shoot at your venue really helpful because not only do you get to know your venue intimately, it can really help battle nerves on the big day because you are already familiar with your photo route.
Here’s a little review from the happy pair…
From Claire & Craig : ‘Ohhh so exicting!! Can’t wait. Yes glad we had engagement shoot highly recommend and definitely help us feel more confident around the camera! Thanks for your help and we can’t wait to see all the photos 🙂 x ‘
So if you have not yet got round to booking your engagement shoot please do. They really are fab and fun and will definitely help you relax more on your big day. You can also use the photos for your wedding invitation too.
It’s that time of year again when the fantastic Latimer House wedding fair strikes again! As one of their recommended wedding photographers, I can’t wait to show you my new albums (one specially on Latimer House Weddings) and meet you. I have got some wonderful new wedding fair props too so my stand is going to be great plus I’ll have big smile on my face as I will be wearing my new personalised ArtbyClaire Wedding photography sweater! It’s not Vivienne Westwood but I love it.
Please tell all your newly engaged friends to pop down and have a chat about their wedding photography – look forward to seeing you there.
Save the Date: Sunday 17th February 2019 – 11 – 3pm.
Soooo this was the most amazing fun shoot with Katie and Daniel, Ted and Maggie (the dogs) we had so much fun I totally loved it and we were blessed with the snowy backdrop up at Whippendell Woods. I love including pets in a family portrait shoot because and yes this is crazy – they are so unreliable!!! and yes this is what makes it so much fun. So long as you relax and let me keep shooting, I promise to deliver something good -even if it is stupendously funny or ridiculous – I had Dan throwing sticks and jumping over logs to get a dog action shot but instead looks like he’s an extra for Mission Impossible – had to laugh when saw those pics. Anyway great morning together and can totally recommend Whipppendell as a location for family/pet shoots too!
